I liked this quilt so well that I sent it to the newest member of our extended family, since we attended his parents’ wedding and even saw his Mother fairly recently.

I am so surprised to be old enough to have grandchildren and grandnephews!
Time sneaks up on us! During my early years of teaching, students would mistakenly call me mom. Then one day, they called me grandma. This was just before I became a grandma.
Very nice! What a good use for an assortment of prints, especially with the highlighted area in the center of the quilt. Longarm quilting is always extra-special. Good for you to have made it for a newly-arrived baby. I’m sure the parents appreciate it.

Hahahahaha! It’s one of life’s little miracles that the scrap pile never gets any smaller! I am suspicious of what those scraps may be up to when I’m not looking 🤣
Maybe those scrappy piles are where all the lost sock-mates go!!! (same emoji as yours, except I can’t access it)
