I have an exciting project coming up, so I wanted to get this month’s UFO out of the way. Here’s the “before” picture of a partially done quilt for Ronald McDonald House. It started with the central embroidery done by a friend.
And here it is with a couple more borders added, which finished the top.
This will now go to the friend who quilts our Ronald McDonald House donations. She’s the one who did the embroidery, so it will come full circle! And since this finished my part of the project, I’m counting the July UFO as done!

Those borders really make a difference. Really make the centre pop
Thanks! The design was a “challenge”!
I like how this honors the pastel center without succumbing to a purely pastel palette for the finish. Nicely done, Zippy!
Indeed, I’m not a pastel gal so it took some doing!
Congratulations on knocking out another UFO – you are mega productive!
Thanks for your encouragement!
You finished off the design perfectly. This is a great example of teamwork among quilters. I’m happy for you to enjoy that wonderful feeling of “done” and another tick on your UFO list. Good work!
It’s so nice that we have this little group that has been making donation quilts together for years. We keep each other encouraged, and appreciate your encouragement as well!
And what a lovely quilt it is. I can see that you had fun
Thank you. In this case, a done quilt is a good quilt, regardless!
