A Couple of Little Projects

Remember my single EPP flower?

I put it together with 4 other orphan blocks and made a little quilt, and a friend quilted it.

The 4 other blocks were made from this pattern:

This pattern is Bubbles by Aylin Ozturk. It is available through PayHip, here.

Although beautiful, these log cabin dot blocks were tedious in the extreme so I quit at 4.

This little table runner is for the “boutique” one of my guilds will have at their quilt show.

Runner from the book Tabletastic!2 by Doug Leko.

I’m working on some other little quilts for Ronald McDonald House as well, so stay tuned…

  1. What a great way to use that block! I had a bathmat wearing thin in a spot and added some bonus EPP flowers to it, and it has worn well for several extra years. Love the table runner too. Scrappy is always my jam.

  2. I’ve done those log cabin circles for a bee, and was incredibly grateful I only had to do two! I admire you for going for four. I think your hexie has found a great friend in the circles; bravo for getting it out of the orphan blocks box and onto a quilt. Lastly, love the table runner. I think I know need a new one, as the one I put on the table last month is looking kind of dated and tired. Thanks for the inspiration!
