Incubator Quilts

A Ronald McDonald House near me requests quilts to be placed over preemie incubators in the NICU. They suggest 36″ square, so I made a few. They’re all from “orphan blocks”, and most were quilted by Linda Nichols (though I quilted one myself–gasp!).

    BTW: I like the fairy & teepee fabrics in the triangle one – and the fact that you used up those triangles in a fairly straightforward manner.

  2. #1 reminds me that I have been meaning to look up the ‘circle of nine’ design concept. My favorites are #2 and #4 — that purposely curved border is great, and I do like crumb blocks.

    • Hi Nann! There are a couple of Circle of Nine quilt books, and I see they are available used at AbeBooks, which is where I get a lot of my books. Of course, your library might have them, too πŸ˜€
