These little angels were purchased by my Mother just after WWII, when she married my Father and “set up housekeeping”. I have gotten rid of most of the holiday dreck, but I love these so they are on the dining table.
Here are a few projects I’ve been working on.

I made some little pods for friends. Pattern is Sweetpea Pods, available here

I love Libs Elliott’s quilts, so I’m working on La Fin du Monde. So far it seems to be a hot mess. Pattern available here.
To paraphrase Kinky Friedman, may the holiday of your choice bring you blessings. Happy holiday, whatever it may be!

I love your bowl. Kristine teaches a great class. I’m semi addicted to making bowls.
Merry Christmas to you and yours
Merry Christmas to you, too! Thanks for stopping by 😀
Those angels are indeed sweet. Precious, especially due to their significance. Love seeing the variety of makes that come up during this time of year. Your bowl is pretty (I want to make one using fabric twine), those pods are adorable, and your new quilt looks like fun (I like Libs’s designs too). Have a blessed and merry Christmas!
Thanks, and same to you!
Merry Christmas and thank you for all of your beautiful, fun and meaningful quilts and posts. Can’t wait to see your stories, discoveries and of course your quilts next year 🎄🎉🤗
Thank you for your kind words, and for reading and commenting 😀 Best wishes for 2024!
Love the angels! Merry Christmas! 🙂
Thanks, and same to you!
I love that you quote Kinky Friedman😁
Happy Holidays.
I’ve never met Kinky, but his dad was my thesis supervisor at UT-Austin and I’ve always enjoyed his music and books 😀 Hope you enjoy your holidays and get to see lots of family!
Merry Christmas! Your projects look amazing. Such bright and cheery colors!
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you, too!
Those little angels are adorable.
You continue to inspired me. Lovely basket, lucky friends, and an intriguing work in progress
Thank you! Hope you are enjoying a quiet week.
The phrase “holiday dreck” is perfect. Although I did hit the post-Christmas sale today in our local Hallmark to get more wrapping paper. We got rid of our Christmas tree and nearly all the ornaments about 3 years ago. I miss it for about 15 minutes every year, when I see other people’s trees in their front window. But that’s all. Thanks for a fun post!
Nice projects and I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season 🙂
Thanks Tierney. Same to you!
