Jerri’s Retreat Group has been going for many years now, and recently we met at my house. Here are a few of the projects other group members were working on. What’s not shown are the multiple trips to quilt shops in the area π
Here are some of the projects made by group members.

This quilt, made from a pattern by Elizabeth Hartman, will go to a camp for seriously ill children
This block will be part of the Rock Star Granny quilt, pattern by Crystal Manning

This quilt to be given to a veteran was made with the Ray pattern, free on the Robert Kaufman website

This block is the start of the Simplify pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew

This is the start of the BQ2 pattern, using fabrics from the Desert Oasis collection from Moda
I am so lucky to have generous and inspiring friends to quilt with!

That studio of yours was made for such retreats! I spied bags of Ghirardelli treats – yummy fun, Zippy.
Funny how several people noticed the bags of chocolate!!!
What fun! It is always an inspirational experience when quilting with friends. I’ll be going to a retreat in Temple, Texas with my buddies in January. I will not forget to take some Ghirardelli treats.
Indeed! Chocolate is the sine qua non of quilt retreating!
Looks like a wonderful and productive time (despite the many trips to the quilt shop!)
Haha! Maybe BECAUSE of the trips to the quilt shop π

How fun that you have space for so many quilters to gather! Love that you open your home like that, and have a quilt shop or two for everyone to visit. Sounds like you’re in the perfect house, and perfect areas. Each quilt is so nice, and it’s fun to see the variety. Keep meeting! You’re having a good time, and that’s the way quiltmaking should be.
Thanks!
This looks divine — and what a great room to sew in! Happy holidays, Mary!
Wow your space looks perfect for a quilt retreat – lots of space! That is wonderful the Elizabeth Hartman pattern Legendary quilt is being donated, I made one of those and it is a lot of work!
The woman who made that quilt does a LOT of Elizabeth Hartman quilts for donation! Best of all, she got to see one of them given to a little boy on her last trip to Ronald McDonald House π
