This was such a fun quilt! Quick, easy, and in some of my favorite colors 😀
It’s a great introduction to using freezer paper templates to make cutting so much easier for odd shapes. And BTW, that is NOT paper piecing!!!

Since it’s such fun, I’ll be teaching this quilt at Studio Stitch. It starts Wednesday, May 3, and runs for 3 sessions so we can get it ALL done 😀
There is something about Wonky makes me smile! Love the colors!
Thanks! I love them, too, as you might guess!
I like the colors a lot. I thought the geese were improv till I read the text. Then I did notice each block was tge same. Clever quilt.
I love this pattern and it is so easy I’m hoping some of our new quilters will try it.
Freezer paper piecing is just ingenious! I love this pattern and the colors are ‘chef’ kiss’!!!
oops “chef’s kiss” 😉
Thanks! At least auto-correct didn’t get in there too–no telling what you would have said 😀
LOL!! Autocorrect usually gets me!!
Wonky awesomeness!
Yes, and fun too! Thanks!
That’s very cute
Thank you, Helen!
Gorgeous. Love the way the geese intersect. I agree that freezer paper is a magic method
The best part was that the geese can be “fiddled with” to make it easy to avoid cutting off points 😀
Love these flying geese. Since I’m writing this on May 5th, you’ve already had one class–was it fun?
