It seems like forever since I started this quilt, but here it is finally. It’s my modification of Sherry Shish’s “Simply Cornered” pattern.

This post marks the beginning of my tenth year of blogging. I’m still enjoying it, especially the opportunity to connect with other quilters around the world. Thank you all for reading and following!
This is a lovely design. Looks like you made it with batiks. Given the size, perhaps you’re donating it? For a child? Or for a wheelchair lap quilt?
Yes, likely a baby quilt. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Congrats on 10 years (and on the finish)!
Blue and white are classic and always lend a freshness to whatever pattern they’re used in…your knot shows that color palette to full advantage.
Thanks 🙂
Happy 10th anniversary! I’ve enjoyed following your blog a long time and I am always amazed by your endless creativity! 🙂
You are an inspiration, Mary.
I love the simple, clean effect of this quilt and surmise that it was not simple or easy to piece it.
Thanks, Mariss. Actually, it was easy to do; the design is very clever. Go to Sheri’s website or store and look carefully.
