Here’s the first finish of 2025, made last year but finally bound now.
This was made from the BQ2 pattern (available here) to make use of the sewing-themed fabrics I’ve collected.
Name: Quilt Drama
Finished size: 63″ x 77″
Pattern: BQ2, by Maple Island Quilts
Pieced by: me
Quilted by: Linda Nichols
Now to binding the rest of the quilts!

What a great way to show off those lively and fun prints! Congratulations on the finish.
Thank you! I’m keeping this quilt for myself 😀
‘Quilt Drama’ oh hilarious name…didn’t see a reference to accidentally snipping into a quiltop – but it’s implied certainly. 😦
BTW: I see you in the fabric with the black background.
Oh, yes! I think we’re ALL there! As well as in some of the cartoons…
Great way to use those big prints and enjoy what they say! So fun!
Ha! Those prints were just like the women portrayed in the cartoons–I just couldn’t leave them in the store!
Fabulous! I’m glad you pointed out that perfect quilting pattern that Linda used – I’d have missed it due to reading and laughing at the highly accurate cartoons! 🙂
Linda is great about finding just the right panto!
Love those big blocks
The BQ patterns are all wonderful for big blocks!
I love the backing fabric you chose!
Thanks! A lucky find in the stash–love it when that happens!
Fun fabrics 😀
Yes, sorta like the cartoons say on the fabrics–they had to go home with me!
Oh what fun! Again, you found and used such interesting fabric!
Well, you know how it is when some fabric just HAS to come home with you…
